Responsibilities & Duties:

• Work with our small community management team to help grow and manage our growing discord community.
• Maintain and evolve our diverse culture, helping to deepen the relationships of our close-knit member-based community.
• Send announcements for updates to the community
• Create and Co-Host events in our discord server
• Collaborate with our other Community Manager and Organizer team members
• Provide support for our game devs and their in-progress projects
• Engage new members and make them feel welcome.

Expectations & Time Commitments

• Care about community and people's well-being
• Curiosity about people and care about helping others. Identify ways that our community could be better.
• A phone/video screening will be held with each applicant.
• The Community team has an online check-in twice a month. Please make it to every meeting, unless you have someone cover for you.
• Timely attention and responses to Discord Community.
• Average hours per week: 2-3 hours
  • During game jams (twice a year), average hours per week: 3-5 hours

Compensation:

Profit-Share for all projects and funds produced by the Melanated Game Kitchen Co-Op
