Melanated Game Kitchen (MGK) is a worker-owned cooperative studio of game developers, artists, and organizers building fun, gameplay-driven games/experiences rooted in culture while supporting a thriving development community of creators and contractors.

We operate at the intersection of innovation, equity, and craft: 🎮 Games – Original projects showcasing unique mechanics and diverse narratives. 🤝 Partnerships – External development, consultation, and co-production with studios and publishers. 📚 Community & Education – Mentorship, events, and resources to grow the next wave of talent. 📺 Streaming Platform – A hub for creators with monetization and cross-community engagement.
